PKSF and BIDS to collaborate on research and evidence-based policymaking
Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in priority research, evidence-based policymaking, and knowledge sharing for the country’s sustainable development.
The MoU was signed at a ceremony held at PKSF Bhaban-1 on 30 July 2026. Md. Fazlul Kader, Managing Director of PKSF, and Dr. A. K. Enamul Haque, Director General of BIDS, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations. Senior officials from both institutions were present at the ceremony.
The partnership aims to establish a long-term strategic collaboration by leveraging the knowledge, research expertise, institutional strengths, and practical experience of both organizations.
Under the MoU, PKSF and BIDS will work together on research, knowledge exchange, and capacity-building initiatives in areas including inclusive financial development, employment-led growth, climate resilience, analysis of long-term poverty dynamics, and strengthening the research capacity of professionals.
