National Mourning Day 2021: Special Events by PKSF and POs
To mark the 46th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, also the National Mourning Day 2021, Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and its Partner Organizations (POs) arranged elaborate programs throughout the month of August. As part of these programs, the national flag was hoisted half-mast at the PKSF Bhaban on 15 August, a drop-down banner was hung from the top of the PKSF Bhaban, all employees of PKSF wore black badges throughout the month, documentaries on Bangabandhu were displayed at the Mujib Corner set up at the PKSF Bhaban, and a virtual discussion meeting was arranged. Besides, the POs arranged various programs to observe the National Mourning Day. These include discussion meetings, special prayer sessions, tree plantation campaigns as well as awareness campaigns to encourage people to be vaccinated against Covid-19.
