PKSF MD calls for maximum utilization of climate investment to protect vulnerable communities

Md Fazlul Kader, Managing Director of PKSF, has called for effective and accountable use of resources invested to combat climate change in Bangladesh. He stated that transparency, efficiency, and accountability are essential for the sustainable development of the livelihoods of the country’s coastal and marginalized poor communities. He also emphasized the importance of constructing climate-resilient housing for the poor.
Speaking at the ‘RHL Project Implementation Progress Review’ workshop held at PKSF Bhaban-1 on 7 January 2026, he highlighted that sustainable housing is key to ensuring a resilient future for disadvantaged communities. He urged that climate-resilient housing initiatives under the RHL project prioritize the most marginalized and impoverished groups.
