PKSF, SANEM sign MoU to strengthen strategies for creating decent employment

Since its establishment in 1990, PKSF has been working to generate employment through microfinance, mitigation of livelihood-related risks, and skills development initiatives. As part of these efforts, PKSF has successfully implemented nearly 400 value chain development interventions in the microenterprise sector.
To further accelerate the achievement of its core objective of employment generation, PKSF recently formulated its Strategic Plan 2025–2030. In line with this, to gain deeper insights into the quality of employment generated through PKSF’s various interventions, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between PKSF and the South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM).
The MoU was signed by PKSF Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader, and SANEM Chairman Dr Bazlul Haque Khondker. The signing ceremony was attended by PKSF Chairman Zakir Ahmed Khan. Speaking at the event, Zakir Ahmed Khan emphasized on the importance of fostering rapid growth of microenterprises to create time-befitting, productive, decent employment opportunities. He also highlighted PKSF’s forward-looking, innovative initiatives and advised its employees to ensure high-quality implementation of these programs.
