Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, visited PKSF’s field-level activities in Nilphamari, Panchagarh, and Thakurgaon districts from 24-25 January 2025.
She witnessed PKSF’s RMTP project interventions, including the ‘Market Expansion for Safe Meat and Dairy Products’ value-chain development sub-project, and the SMART project’s ‘Promoting Eco-Friendly Construction Materials through Resource-Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) Practices’ sub-project, implemented through PKSF’s Partner Organization ESDO in Thakurgaon. Additionally, she visited PKSF’s BD Rural WASH for HCD project in Nilphamari and commercial tulip cultivation under the RMTP project in Panchagarh. During the visit, the FID Secretary exchanged views with entrepreneurs engaged in different PKSF initiatives.
She was accompanied by Deputy Secretaries Mohammad Amin Shorif and Muhammad Mizanur Rahman of the Financial Institutions Division, NBR Commissioner Touhidul Monir, PKSF General Manager Gokul Chandra Biswas and Deputy General Manager Md Habibur Rahman, and ESDO Executive Director Dr Md Shahid Uz Zaman.
