Dr Md Jashim Uddin, an Additional Managing Director of PKSF on 27 February 2024 visited field-level activities of RAISE project in Naogaon district. The project is being implemented by BEDO, a Partner Organization of PKSF.

During the visit, he observed a session of the ‘Life-skills Development’ training under RAISE’s Apprenticeship Program. At the training he interacted with the apprentices, encouraging them to focus on hands-on learning and to work with dedication and discipline in their new employment.

Dr Jashim Uddin expressed satisfaction with the activities implemented through BEDO under the RAISE project. He was accompanied by Dr. Tasnim Ahmed, Executive Director, BEDO during this visit.

Recovery and Advancement of Informal Sector Employment (RAISE) project’s apprenticeship program includes hands-on training in technical and business skills enhancement, along with ‘Life-skills Development’ training. This training covers aspects such as leadership, negotiation skills, communication skills, relationship management, problem-solving and decision-making, emotional intelligence, and social skills among others.
