PKSF on 18 October 2023 celebrated the birthday of Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

To mark the day, the employees of PKSF placed a floral wreath on Sheikh Russel’s grave at Banani Graveyard in the capital and another wreath at his portrait installed in the reception area of PKSF Bhaban.

Russel, also the youngest brother of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, was born on 18 October 1964. On the fateful night of 15 August 1975, he was brutally killed along with most of his family members, including his father.
