PKSF signed a contract with Desh Polytechnic College (DPC) on 27 February 2023, as a New Partner Institutes under Tranche-3 of SEIP. Md Ziauddin Iqbal, Senior General Manager of PKSF and Chief Coordinator of PKSF-SEIP and M A Salam, Chairman of DPC signed the contract on behalf of their respective organizations. Kazi Farzana Sharmin, Deputy Chief Coordinator of PKSF-SEIP and other officials of SEIP unit and DPC were also present on the occasion.

Under the contract, DPC will be responsible to provide 6-month residential training on ‘Caregiving’ trade and the training institute will ensure at least 60% gainful employment for the certified trainees in the respective job sector. It is to be noted that PKSF will train up 1,800 caregivers by 2023.
