Dr Md Jashim Uddin, Additional Managing Director of PKSF, inaugurated the Jano Unnayan Technical Training Institute at Banker Hat in Bheduria Union of Bhola district on 23 January 2025. The training institute, established by Grameen Jano Unnayan Sangstha (GJUS)—a Partner Organization of PKSF, aims to enhance the technical skills of coastal people and ensure more effective implementation of PKSF’s interventions in the region.

As part of this two-day official visit that began on 22 January 2025, Dr Md Jashim Uddin inspected various field-level activities of PKSF’s different programs and projects being implemented through GJUS. These activities included agriculture, skill development, housing, and income generation. Additionally, he distributed blankets to the poor in Bhelumia Union of Bhola Sadar upazila. During the visit, Dr Jashim also exchanged views with the senior officials of GJUS.
