‘Work sincerely for the poor’: PKSF Chairman urges newly appointed officials
PKSF is making significant contribution to rural economic development by providing various financial and non-financial services, said PKSF Chairman Dr M Khairul Hossain.
He made this remark at the inauguration of the 6-week basic training course for the newly appointed Assistant Managers at PKSF Auditorium on 14 December 2023. He said, “Almost 20 million families are currently receiving a vast range of services rendered effectively by PKSF. Our goal is to build a sustainable and prosperous Bangladesh by bettering the lives of the 50 million-plus people of these families.”
Dr Khairul urged the new appointees to perform their duties with diligence, sincerity and honesty to add further dynamism to the efforts of PKSF for the welfare of the people.
In her speech at the event, the Managing Director of PKSF, Dr Nomita Halder ndc, welcomed the newly appointed Assistant Managers to the PKSF family, and said that efficiency and transparency are the hallmarks of PKSF employees.
Additional Managing Directors Md Fazlul Kader and Dr Md Jashim Uddin discussed on ‘Poverty alleviation and financing for employment: Development of finance and lending among poor people and experience of PKSF’ and ‘Context of PKSF’s establishment, its mission, vision and strategic approach’ respectively.
Deputy Managing Director Md Hasan Khaled and Deputy General Manager Salina Sharif also spoke at the event.
