‘Appropriate training and financial support can generate employment for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)’, said Dr Tapash Kumar Biswas, Deputy Managing Director of PKSF. As a part of inclusive development programs, PKSF is working to improve the quality of life for the PWDs. Dr Tapash appreciated YPSA, a Partner Organization of PKSF, for implementing the ‘Ensuring a Sustainable Livelihood for People with Disabilities through Inclusive Financing Program’ with the financial and technical support of PKSF. He emphasized expanding the program across the country. He added that there is no alternative to generating employment for these people to ensure sustainable development of Bangladesh and to meet the SDGs. PKSF DMD made those comments while speaking at a program of Radio Sagor Giri FM 99.2 on 21 March 2023.

From 20-21 March 2023, PKSF’s DMD Dr Tapash witnessed YPSA’s program for the PWDs in Sitakunda and Mirsharai upazilas of Chattagram district as a part of conducting a study titled ‘Effectiveness and Sustainability of the Program for Persons with Disabilities under the LIFT Program of PKSF’.
