PKSF, BINA sign MoU on cooperation to increase agricultural productivity
Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 17 November 2021 with the objective of achieving food and nutrition security and poverty alleviation by increasing agricultural productivity through partnership and collaboration.
Dr Nomita Halder ndc, Managing Director, PKSF chaired the occasion. Dr Mirza Mofazzal Islam, Director General, BINA and Mr Golam Touhid, Senior Deputy Managing Director, PKSF signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions.
Under the MoU, BINA will provide: special and high-yielding varieties of different crops; technology related to implementation; publications and technical information; training and assistance to disseminate the technologies among the farmers connected with the interventions of PKSF. BINA’s services will develop their capacity and skills for sustainable agricultural production. BINA will also help develop skills of the technical staff of PKSF and its POs. PKSF will ensure overall cooperation to BINA to facilitate its services to the targeted famers.
