PKSF Chairman pays homage to Sheikh Russel on his birthday
PKSF Chairman Dr. M Khairul Hossain on 18 October 2023 paid tributes to Sheikh Russel, the youngest son of Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, on his birthday.
To mark Sheikh Russel Day-2023, he placed a floral wreath at Sheikh Russel’s portrait installed in the reception area of PKSF Bhaban. Among others, PKSF’s Additional Managing Director Md Fazlul Kader, Senior Deputy Managing Director Golam Touhid, Deputy Managing Directors AQM Golam Mawla, Md Mashiar Rahman and Dr Fazle Rabbi Sadeque Ahmed accompanied the Chairman.
Sheikh Russel, also the youngest brother of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, was born on 18 October 1964. On the fateful night of 15 August 1975, he was brutally killed along with most of his family members, including his father.
